Entrance into CEL is through competition. Every holder of a high school diploma is eligible for the examination for entrance into the first year. However, the applications of the scientific series (D, C, and Agricultural) have a better chance than those of the purely literary series (A2, A1).

The entrance examination includes four tests (based on the curriculum of the final year of high school) each with duration of one and half hours:

Life and Earth Sciences,

Mathematics,

French,

Psycho-technical Test

NUMBER OF STUDENTS RECRUITED PER CLASS

Based on the capacity of the center’s facilities (classrooms, car, distribution of groups for practical classes), CEL receives an average of 20 students per class.

ASSESSMENT

centre_formation

Every course is compulsory for permanent students. A particular emphasis is placed on interning with environmental organization in the first year, a field trip in the second year, and field work for the final report in third year.Any breach of these three elements results in repetition of the class.

CEL practices continuous assessment; the average minimum grade for passing an upper level is 10/20.A student can repeat only once during his or her training at CEL.Unjustified absence from a test is punished by a grade of zero.

DIPLOMA

After three years of study and having successfully supported the final report, the student is awarded by a professional license degree (Bachelor's degree).
